Why does my billing address have to be registered to my card for orders over a certain dollar amount?

I think you charged me twice?

  • Nah, we wouldn't do that. The second “charge” you see on your online account info is just an authorization for the funds and should disappear within 48 hours, depending on who you bank with. If it's been more than 48 hours and you still see that pending charge, please contact your bank. They should be able to give you a better idea of when it will disappear.

We offer free standard shipping with DHL. Orders of $150 or more receive free shipping via FedEx Ground. If you prefer, UPS Ground is available for just $5.99. Need your items sooner? FedEx 2-Day shipping is an option too—just keep in mind that the rate will depend on your delivery address and box size.

How long does shipping take?

  • Because a lot of our gear is meant for adults and is to be used for tobacco and legal herbs only. States have different laws for the legal age and we must comply with them in order to deliver your order.

Do 420 Jars come with lids - what are they like?

Yes! Every jar we sell comes with a lid. And you can purchase replacement lids here.

The Classic Series of Pop Top 420 Jars have a glass lid with a plastic gasket ring to seal in the freshness.

Clear and Amber Screw Top line of jars feature a black screw-top lid that provides an equally tight seal.

Wide Mouth Jars come with a lid we designed ourselves! It’s food-grade silicone which offers double-wall protection to ensure maximum freshness.

The UV Jars are fitted with a black screw top lid.

Concentrate Jars also feature a black screw top lid.

The Tincture Dropper lids have a glass pipette that reaches almost to the bottom of the bottle.

Aren’t your jars just decorated with stickers?

  • No way! The designs on our jars are a special glass decal which is applied by hand in our warehouse here in Austin, TX. The decal is then fired onto the jar in a kiln at over 1000 degrees. This permanently adheres the design to the jar for life so it will never chip or wear off. This also means the jar is dishwasher safe for when you’re ready to clean it.

Are your jars smell proof?

  • All of our jars are air tight. However, the very strong odor of some things just cannot be contained! Plus handling what’s inside the jar, then handling your jar can leave a residue on the jar that will give off odor. We do not recommend relying on our jars to conceal scent. We hope you’re able to use your jar in an environment where you do not have to worry about smell and can proudly display your stash in an aesthetically pleasing way. If concealing smell is your #1 priority, we recommend going with other containment options that guarantee scent concealment.

What’s the return and exchange policy on pipes?

You can exchange or return unused glass within seven days of receipt. If it has been more than seven days since you received the item it’s yours forever.

My pipe arrived broken.

  • Snap a photo and then contact us immediately! Any breakage needs to be reported within 48 hours of receipt. Email the photo to us at help@420Science.com. Include your name, original order number and the email you used when you ordered.

I bought a pipe from you and I broke it.

  • Total bummer. If it has been less than 48 hours let us know and we will try and replace it. We’re really sorry we do not warranty the glass pipes we sell after the 48 hour period.

What size bowl, nail or dome do I need?

  • First, you need to know what size the receiving piece is that you’re trying to fit something in to. The most common sizes are 10mm, 14mm and 19mm. Measure across the largest part of the opening of your piece using the metric side of a ruler. Purchase the corresponding size bowl, nail or dome. If you’re still not sure please email us and we’ll help you out.

How do I use RezBlock?

Starting with a clean water pipe is best. Fill your piece with water, add 4-6 drops depending on how much water your pipe uses and then take a dry pull to mix. Now use your piece as usual. Change the water as often as you would normally and watch your glass stay clean!

What’s in RezBlock?

  • RezBlock is a proprietary blend of fruit extracts, vegetable glycerin, purified water, and citric acid.

What is RezBlock?

  • RezBlock is an all-natural resin blocking water additive that prevents resin from sticking to your water pipe! Seriously, it keeps resin from sticking anywhere that the water is touching the glass in your water pipe!

Puffco Peak - How-To

How do I use my Puffco Peak?

1. Make sure that your Peak is fully charged before your first use. The white light on the unit will pulse while it's charging and will automatically turn off once fully charged. The Peak should take about 2.5 hours to fully charge. Use only the micro USB charger included with your Peak to do so, using different charging bricks can potentially damage the device and will void your warranty.

2. Fill the glass attachment with water, just above the air-holes. Do not allow any water in the lower section of the glass (see included instructions for details) and do not fill the glass attachment water while attached to the base.

3. You can then attach the glass to the base of the Peak, aligning the inlet hole on the front of the glass with the atomizer. Then carefully pushing the front of the glass into the base, then the back.

4. To lock/unlock the device, hold down the button for 3-5 seconds.

5. Single-click to toggle through heat settings; BLUE-GREEN-RED-WHITE

6. Use the loading tool to place contents on the bottom surface of the bowl.

7. Place the carb cap on top of the atomizer.

8. Double click to initiate heat-up; the device will take about 20 seconds to heat up fully. Press & hold the button at any point to exit the heating cycle.

9. The device will vibrate and lights will flash 3 times when ready for use.

10. Use a cotton swab to clean the bowl after each use.

How do I load my Puffco Peak?

Use the loading tool included with your Peak to transfer your product into the bowl of the atomizer. Always be sure to load the contents onto the bottom of the bowl rather than along the sidewalls of the bowl for the optimal experience. Once the atomizer has been loaded you can double click the button to engage the heating element and place the carb cap on the top of the atomizer. You can also load your product while the atomizer is warm as you would with a traditional rig.

How do I charge my Puffco Peak?

Simply plug the base of your device into a wall outlet via the USB charger included with your Peak. While charging, the white light will pulse and the light will automatically turn off once the device is fully charged. A depleted battery will fully charge in about 2.5 hours.

Can I Use Any Micro USB Charger To Charge My Peak?

While it's okay to use a different charging cable to charge your Peak base, we never suggest using a different adapter or charging brick or using a car charger. PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THAT DOING SO CAN POTENTIALLY DAMAGE THE PRODUCT AND WILL VOID YOUR WARRANTY.

How Long Should My Peak Battery Last?

A fully charged Peak battery should last about 30 heating cycles before needing to be recharged. Please keep in mind that using “Sesh Mode” often will deplete battery life quicker. ALSO, REMEMBER TO SHUT THE DEVICE DOWN IN BETWEEN USES IN ORDER TO PRESERVE BATTERY LIFE, THE BATTERY WILL SLOWLY DEPLETE EVEN WHEN NOT IN USE.

To check your battery life click the button 3 times. The color will indicate how much battery life remains before the device needs to be recharged: Green (100% - 60%) - Yellow (60% - 30%) - Red (30% - 0%)

What is Sesh Mode?

We created a Sesh Mode feature that allows you to increase heat and extend your session by 15 seconds mid-cycle. This can be helpful if you’ve loaded too much material and you’re in need of a temperature boost, or just looking to share with a friend. Simply double click while in use and the heat will automatically increase and your cycle will extend. Still not enough? Double click as many times as you want to keep the session going!

Why Are There Different Versions Of The Peak Atomizer?

While there have been different iterations of the Peak atomizer since we’ve released the device, all functionality between the atomizers is the same. We’ve only implemented slight design changes to the casing of the atomizer over time in efforts of resolving some user error related issues such as flooding/leaking.

What Is The Best Way To Attach/Detach The Atomizer To The Base?

We always suggest that you attach/detach the atomizer to and from the base fully assembled, with the atomizer jacket on. The top of the Peak atomizer has notches that lock the jacket into place, making it very difficult to fully attach the atomizer without it attached.

Whenever I Use My Peak I Hear A Buzzing Sound, Is That Normal?

Yes, a light buzzing is completely normal when the heating element is engaged and is always more apparent and noticeable when the carb cap is removed.

How Do I Clean My Peak?

In preparation for cleaning, carefully remove the glass attachment before unscrewing the atomizer. Also, be sure to let the bowl cool down prior to removing the atomizer from the base.

1. Clean the carb cap and glass by soaking in Isopropyl Alcohol (99% preferred). Be sure to rinse with water after.

2. The atomizer can be cleaned by submerging fully assembled part in Isopropyl Alcohol (99% preferred). DO NOT RINSE WITH WATER, AS WATER EXPOSURE TO CERAMIC CAN POTENTIALLY DAMAGE THE PART. Be sure to clean the gold connector pin on the base and bottom of the atomizer with Iso soaked cotton swab as well.

*IF YOUR BOWL CANNOT BE EASILY REMOVED, DO NOT ATTEMPT TO FORCEFULLY REMOVE. See extended cleaning instructions via Puffco.com/pages/support or contact support via Puffco.com/warranty.

3. WARNING: After cleaning, allow all parts to thoroughly dry before use.

• Before removing atomizer, make sure the bowl has cooled down.
• Do not get base wet – it's electric – it will break.
• Thoroughly clean device every 20 uses or so.

How Often Should I Clean My Peak?

A good rule of thumb is to thoroughly clean the Peak each time the battery fully depletes and needs to be recharged. The atomizer itself should be soaked in ISO anytime you notice excess flooding or get a rainbow light response from the device.

What Is The Best Cleaning Solution To Clean My Peak?

The best cleaning solution to clean your Peak and Peak atomizer is 99% Isopropyl Alcohol. The reason we suggest 99% Isopropyl Alcohol specifically is because lower percentages of Isopropyl Alcohol have a water content that could potentially cause issues.

My Device Is Flashing Rainbow Lights, What Do I Do?

The rainbow light is an indication that there is a connection issue between the base and atomizer & does not necessarily mean that anything is broken or defective. The first tip is to remove the atomizer, clean the connection pins with a cotton swab dipped in iso, and reattach the atomizer.

If the atomizer has not been cleaned in some time and there is any sticky material flooding the part it may be best to soak the entire atomizer in ISO, let it fully dry, and then reattach the atomizer.

When you do so, be sure to screw the atomizer tightly into the base. Sometimes something as simple as a loose connection can be the reason for the issue. If issues persist, contact Puffco directly via Puffco.com/warranty

I’ve Changed The Atomizer On My Peak And I’m Still Getting A Rainbow Light Error. What’s Wrong With My Peak?

If you're still getting a rainbow light reaction with the connections clean and clear & a brand new atomizer, you may want to try "back threading" (turn the atomizer counter-clockwise for a half turn) to ensure the atomizer threads are properly lining up to the threads of the base. Then tighten the atomizer securely to the base. If issues do persist, contact Puffco directly via Puffco.com/warranty

The Light On My Device Sometimes Flashes Red While Charging, What Do I Do?

Not to worry, this simply means that the device has overheated. Simply let the Peak cool down for a little while and normal functionality/charging will resume. If your device is overheating while on the charger you should expect the charge time to take a little over 2.5 hours.

When I Try To Use My Peak It Flashes 5 Times And Does Not Heat. What Do I Do?

The red flashing light is to indicate that there is a short circuit somewhere in the device. Contact support@puffco.com or Puffco.com/warranty for further assistance.

My Atomizer Is Heating Up But I’m Not Getting Any Vapor, What Am I Doing Wrong?

This can be due to the glass not being properly attached or lined up to the base of the device. Even if you’re getting airflow, the inlet hole may be slightly offset which is why no vapor is being transferred from the atomizer through the glass attachment.

Simply remove the glass and reattach the piece, carefully aligning the inlet hole with the atomizer first and then popping the rear end of the glass into place. Once in, slightly turn to the right and then back in alignment with the atomizer to ensure the silicone from the base is not blocking the air path from the atomizer.

Puffco Plus - How-To

How do I use my Puffco Plus?

Click the cloud button 5 times consecutively to lock and unlock the unit.

Click the cloud button 4 times consecutively to change the temperature setting. (Green - Low, Blue - Medium, White - High)

For regular use hold the cloud button down and inhale. The pen will automatically shut off after 8 seconds of use.

Click the cloud button 2 times consecutively to enter Sesh Mode. The pen will stay on for 12 seconds. Press the button twice again to exit Sesh Mode.

Do not fire the pen more than three times on sesh mode

Do not use any other products with your Puffco Plus. The battery has a 510 threading. Despite this being a common thread, we do not recommend using any Puffco Plus parts with any other products.

How do I load my Puffco Plus?

We suggest using the Puffco dart to load the chamber. For the optimal Puffco experience we recommend loading the chamber on a per use basis. Overpacking can lead to leaks and possible clogging.

TIPS:
For most efficient use, load a single-use amount (.2g or .3g) onto the dart, put the pen in “Sesh mode,” use until the chamber is empty. Refill chamber per use.

Hold the pen vertically to ensure the contents heat efficiently.

When the battery is low, vapor production may be reduced. A full battery will provide the best result.

A variety of substances and consistencies can be used in Puffco Plus, as long as they are not super runny, sappy, or in liquid form.

How do I charge my Puffco Plus?

The Plus battery light will flash 10 times to indicate that the battery needs to be recharged.

In order to charge the Puffco Plus battery use the charger included in your Puffco kit. Plug the charger into any USB outlet for power. Screw the battery onto the opposite end of the charger.

If the pen is not fully charged the battery will display a white light when the battery is attached. Once the pen has completed charging, the light will blink green and turn off. When an uncharged battery is screwed onto the charger, the charger light will change from green to red. You can remove the battery by simply unscrewing it from the charger. Charge the battery at a wall unit for the best results.

The battery light will flash 10 times to indicate that the battery needs to be recharged.

Super chargers are expected to fully charge a depleted Plus battery in under 35 minutes.

How Long Should My Battery Last?

The Plus battery should last an average of 30 Sesh Mode cycles on its highest setting. Frequent use on the highest (white) setting and/or Sesh Mode will deplete the battery more quickly.

If this is not what you are experiencing, they first recommend that you check that the same issue occurs with both atomizers provided in your kit. Then clean the gold connection pins between your battery and atomizers with a cotton swab dipped in ISO to alleviate any connection issues that may be occurring between the two.

Sometimes even the smallest bit of debris can cause a bad connection which stops the pen from working or charging at its full potential.

Please keep in mind that the new Plus atomizer technology does draw more current from the battery than that of the Puffco Pro, reducing battery life quicker. If you were to use your Pro atomizer on the Plus battery, the battery life would be much similar to our older model if not better.

What Is The Puffco Plus Used For?

The Puffco Plus is designed for use with essential oils. A variety of substances, consistencies, and flavors of essential oils can be used in the pen, as long as they are not overly runny, sappy, or in liquid form. Dry herbs can also damage or short the chamber and we highly advise against using any type of dry herb in your Puffco.

What is Sesh Mode?

Click the cloud button 2 times to enter Sesh Mode. The pen will stay on for 12 seconds without holding the cloud. Press the button twice again to exit Sesh Mode.

Do not fire the pen more than three times consecutively on Sesh Mode.

Can I Use My Plus Battery With E-Cig Atomizers?

While the most practical use of a Puffco is the Puffco battery with the Puffco chamber attached you can use your battery with an e-cig atomizer as long as that atomizer has the same 510 threading that is used on your pen's battery.

Our Plus battery puts out 2.7v on Green, 3.2v on Blue, and 3.7v on White. Make sure you keep this in mind as many e-cig batteries are used on a higher voltage than our battery produces.

Can I Use My Puffco Plus Atomizer With Other Batteries?

While the Plus’ chamber is 510-threaded, it is not recommended to pair it with non-Plus batteries, as this may compromise the lifespan and functionality of both the battery and chamber. The Plus chamber requires an extreme level of power and strength to deliver the large, focused heat as it's designed -- that power and strength can only be provided by the carefully calibrated Plus battery.

You should NOT use the Plus chamber with any other batteries.

What Is The Difference Between The Puffco Plus & Puffco Pro?

Although ultimately a vaporizer, the Plus is the first device that serves as a mini dab nail rig in your pocket.

The Plus features an all-ceramic coil-less chamber that contains no glues or exposed metals which means great taste is guaranteed. From loading to indulging in the finest essential oil concentrates, taking in the full flavor of the Plus is a unique experience to the Pro and most vaporizer pens in general.

The Plus chamber was designed for efficiency and strength, so stick to smaller loads for the optimal experience. It's recommended to load the Plus with .2g or .3g at a time and refill per use.

The new Plus mouthpiece houses a removable ceramic loading tool with a convection cap known as the Dart. This addition also minimizes splashback and efficiently retains oil.

The Puffco Pro, like traditional vaporizer pens, features a coil-based system. The Pro 2 is much like the original Pro with a smaller, more portable design and some updated features. The Pro 2 battery also features the addition of Sesh Mode, a feature previously exclusive to our Plus model battery.

Both the Puffco Pro & Plus are intended for use with essential oils only.

Puffco Plus - Troubleshooting & Cleaning

How Do I Clean My Puffco Plus?

For general cleaning, warm the chamber by entering Sesh Mode for one cycle. Unscrew the mouthpiece. Use a tightly wound cotton swab to remove remaining byproduct in the chamber and on the Dart. Wipe threading. Repeat if necessary.

It is normal for the bottom of your Plus chamber to blacken or darken over time, just as a ceramic nail typically would after some use. This should not in any way affect the overall performance of the chamber itself.

The mouthpiece, battery and threading can be cleaned by wiping with a cotton swab dipped in ISO. Do not soak any gunmetal parts of the Puffco Plus in rubbing alcohol.

How Often Should I Clean My Puffco Plus?

We recommend cleaning your Plus with the included instructions every few uses to prevent any build up in the vapor path.

If you are a heavy Puffco user, be sure to clean the threading and connection pins of your unit with a cotton swab dipped in ISO somewhat regularly to avoid any contacts from getting sticky.

How Do I Clean My Dart?

The dart is held into the mouthpiece by a small black silicone grommet making it removable, for easy cleaning.

Be fairly gentle as the dart itself is made of ceramic. To remove the dart you can push it out of the mouthpiece by pushing through the top of the mouthpiece with a cotton swab.

The dart itself can be cleaned using ISO, though you should not soak any gunmetal parts of the unit in any alcohol based cleaning solutions.

My Chamber Is Not Heating, What Do I Do?

If the battery is functioning as intended and your chamber won't heat you may be experiencing a connection issue.

In this case we always recommend cleaning the gold connection pins located on the top of the battery and the underside of the chamber. This can be done with a cotton swab dipped in ISO and will help alleviate any connection issues occurring between the atomizer and battery. Sometimes even the smallest bit of debris can prevent the pen from functioning at its full potential.

My Battery Light Just Flashes When I Try To Use It, What Should I Do?

This is usually the result of a connection issue. Sometimes even the smallest bit of debris can cause a bad connection which stops the pen from working at it's full potential.

To start, we recommend that you try cleaning the gold connection pins between the battery and atomizer to alleviate any connection issues that may be occurring between the two.

This can be done with the wipe of a cotton swab dipped in ISO.

You should also make sure the connection between the battery and charger is just as clean so that the battery can fully charge.

My Chamber Is Clogged, How Do I Fix It?

Although unlikely, with extended use it is possible for clogging in the chamber to occur. Please also keep in mind a variety of substances, consistencies, and flavors of essential oils can be used in the pen, as long as they are not overly runny, sappy or in liquid form.

To alleviate clogs you can unscrew the mouthpiece and hold the pen upside down over a paper towel or hold the pen upside down using your Prism, initiate Sesh Mode for a cycle or two allowing any bi product to drip out of the holes in chamber.

You may have to repeat this process a few times depending on how heavy of a clog you've experienced. If this is the case, let the pen cool every 2-3 Sesh Mode cycles as the pen will get warm!

My Atomizer Has Been Leaking Product Through To The Battery, How Do I Prevent This?

The Plus was designed for efficiency and strength, so stick to smaller loads (.2g/.3g) at a time and refill per use for the optimal experience.

Also, keep the pen vertical especially when warm - There are small holes on the walls of your chamber that help promote airflow throughout, however if the contents inside the chamber are hot they may leak through these holes if the pen is not held upright.

The battery and threading can be cleaned of any leaked product using a paper towel or cotton swab dipped in ISO. That should help alleviate any sticky mess and should not affect the performance of the battery itself.
